JAMES BOND-SPYGLASS - Bond's mission in this short is to recover the missing elements of a device called, the Spyglass Satellite. This device is the UK's latest example of Star Wars technology. The stolen element is believed to be in the hands of a crooked scientist named Doctor Evans. Bond is sent to track Evans down and switch the Spyglass component with a fake, provided by Q. When this fake is placed into the Spyglass system it is programmed to detonate and destroy it. On His mission to perform the switcheroo Bond poses as Doctor Evans and ends up meeting some interesting characters along the way. Two femme fatale types try and destract Bond, even eliminate Him, But just like Bond, He always finds His way out of a sticky situation. The ending of this exciting cloak and dagger tale leaves us begging for more. I hope that the folks at Vortx provide us with a sequel. Even though there were no fancy gadgets or exotic cars, the pace of this film keeps you interested, and quite entertained. I like to think of this version as a more "Real World" James Bond.
