DAREDEVIL (BY DAVID SARRIO)

DAREDEVIL- Now this is the way the Big Boys should have done it! Hollywood please view this fine Fan Film trailer by David Sarrio & Nomad Films and break out your note books. DD lurking in the dark, and kicking crazy thug ass! just like the old Frank Miller run on the book. Kingpin actually looks like the Kingpin, although i would have went with an actual overweight person to play the role, instead of the body suit. My only other complaint is DD's costume...I know I'll probably take flack for this but the all red getup just doesn't translate that well on the big screen. The costume looks amazing in the comics, but I believe that Hollywood was on the right track with their design for Affleck's threads. Maybe a touch of black or dark grey to the suit just for some gritty flavor. Besides that the mask looks awesome and the actor playing Daredevil looks like he jumped out of the comic. Even the swirling opening credits and soundtrack are near perfect. This trailer did a damn fine job of capturing the feel of DD books.
