GREEN LANTERN-NEW DAWN

GREEN LANTERN:NEW DAWN- Finally after 3 long years this Green Lantern Fan Film by Director's Brian Tomaselli, Scott Schlosser, and Calamity House Production see's the light of day! In the same vein as Grayson, Green Lantern:New Dawn is an extended trailer, for lack of a better term. The trailer takes us from the day Kyle Rayner (played by Garrett Saczawa) receives his Power Ring from Ganthet, all the way up to His girlfriends tragic murder at the hands of Major Force. The trailer is well paced, and featues some fluid action sequences. The Power Ring effects looked especially impressive, while other effects needed some work. We see the birth of a hero, as well has his struggle to find himself again all within the span of a few short minutes, in other words..the trailer did it's job. Although I would have loved to have seen a full length Fan Film from Calamity House, this trailer wasn't totally dissapointing so I'm not going to complain. My personal highlight picks of the trailer include well done costume work, and a standout performance from Ray Goodwin as the extra maniacal Major Force. Fanboys will also be happy to hear that there are special appearances from Batman, John Stewart, Donna Troy, and The Shade in the film.
